Artist Profile: The artist creates functional ceramic ware that lies at the confluence of many cultures. As a young engineering student in Michigan he was enchanted by the beauty and power of clay. A supportive network of studio potters and elevated definitions of good craftsmanship enabled him to develop a functional aesthetic of global standards. After completing his ceramics program, he applied for and won an internship at a renowned pottery studio in Jerusalem. He chose to set up his studio in India, lured by a strong sense of roots.
